Allison Rose has served as Assistant Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania since 1999. In addition to being the dean’s chief of staff, she is also his senior writer, responsible for drafting remarks, reports, policies, and other works of bureaucratese. Allison has led writing workshops for incoming students at Penn’s Fels Institute of Government.
